Logan's cast

Okay...so Logan broke his foot. I wanted to post a picture of the famous "potato sack cast." He broke his foot jumping in a potato sack race. We thought that it was broken when he couldn't stand on it. We took him to the ER, and they released him, telling us that it was a hip disorder. A HIP DISORDER?! Someone needs to go back to medical school! The two year old was pointing where it hurts, and the doctor kept saying, "No...I think it is the hip." However, they sent Logan home, saying if it hurts, ice it. Logan kept complaining about it hurting. He would grab ice and elevating it himself. A week and a half went by. I was going to call his doctor and take him back in, when the doctor called saying that the ER doctor made a huge mistake, and the Orthopedic department wanted to see us immediately...it was fractured on the growth plate of his heel. Get him in immediately! So he had a hard cast on for a few weeks, and then a walking cast for a few more. He called it his "Big Blue Boot". Then, it was just shortened to "Boot". The interesting thing about Logan getting his cast is: He slept through the entire casting process. He woke up with it on. I bet that would be strange. He woke up and asked me, "Mommy? Can you get this thing off of me?" But he was fine after a couple of minutes. He never complained of it itching, and we never found any toys down there (they said that was the most common occurance with kids that age...haha). What a good boy!

Pookie can wake board

Here is a a picture of Pookie (AKA--Adam) Wake Boarding. I know that this should be with the other family reunion pictures, but sorry...it is out of order. I was so glad that I was able to go on the boat with Pookie. I took this picture from the back of a boat. (We were on Bear Lake, on the Idaho side) Pookie totally rocks...he is wicked good ! ;)

Kylie got baptized

On Saturday, September 2nd, 2006, Kylie got baptized! She was so excited. Her family on Mommy's side--(Papa, Auntie Karen, Uncle Kirk, Grammie, Auntie Jodi, Auntie Kendra, Gracie, and McKay), and her family on Daddy's side--(Gramma, Uncle Matthew, Talia, and Tara) came out with a bunch of her friends from our church to see her on the most special day to her. It was so wonderful. She said that she will never forget this day as long as she lives. Her Daddy baptized her. What a wonderful day!
